About Me
Photography for me is closely connected to observation, patience and curiosity. I work in both wildlife and urban photography, with a strong focus on long-term wildlife storytelling, documenting behaviour, relationships and environmental change through time spent in the field.
I was born in Dortmund and now live in Cologne. My view of the world has been shaped by international experiences, including living for a year in France, studying in Portugal and Mexico, and completing an internship in India. Alongside my photographic work, I also work in the IT field.
Many of my wildlife projects grow slowly, built on returning to the same places over months or years. I am particularly interested in moments of transition, where behaviour shifts, where environments change, and where the impact of human presence becomes visible in natural systems. Conservation awareness is an important motivation behind this work.
In my urban photography, I am drawn to atmosphere, structure, light and the character of spaces shaped by people and time. Across all genres, light, structure and movement are central elements in my visual language. I am interested in images that allow space for interpretation and invite viewers to look closer.
